These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of HaulReport (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. What HaulReport is — and is not

HaulReport is an independent publisher. We reproduce facts from public datasets released by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and present clearly-labeled, independently-reconstructed percentile estimates derived from those public measures.

• Percentile figures are HaulReport estimates. They are not official FMCSA or CSA scores, not a safety rating, and not a fitness determination. Bands describe percentile ranges among peers, not safety judgments.
• HaulReport is an independent publisher and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FMCSA or the U.S. Department of Transportation.
• Nothing on the Site is legal, financial, insurance, or professional advice, or a recommendation to do business with, hire, insure, or avoid any carrier.

2. Not a consumer report (FCRA)

HaulReport is not a consumer reporting agency and this site is not a consumer report. Do not use it for any purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (credit, insurance, employment, or tenant screening).

You may not use the Site, in whole or in part, as a factor in establishing an individual’s eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing, or any other purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) or comparable state law.

3. No warranty

The Site and all content are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Public source data may be incomplete, delayed, or contain errors, and our estimates may differ from any internal government value. Always verify against official FMCSA sources before relying on any figure.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HaulReport and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, business, or data, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Site is to stop using it.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Site for any unlawful purpose or to harass, defame, or harm any party.
• Do not use the data for any FCRA-governed purpose (see Section 2).
• Do not scrape, bulk-download, or redistribute the Site in a manner that misrepresents our estimates as official government determinations.

6. Intellectual property and trademarks

Underlying FMCSA data is public and used under the terms of its government license. HaulReport’s original text, design, and reconstructed estimates are our intellectual property. Carrier names, DOT numbers, and government marks are used only for nominative identification of the carriers and sources described; their use does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which HaulReport is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
